Manufacturing at Ferrosan Medical Devices
Manufacturing in Ferrosan Medical Devices consists of approximately 190 people spread across key departments – two production departments, Process Support, EHS and Technical Support, Utility & Facility. These departments work cohesively to ensure the seamless production and delivery of our cutting-edge medical devices, demonstrating a commitment to precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement adhering to Lean methodologies. This position is organized in the “Technical Support, Utility & Facility team” which consists of 24 engineers and technical staff with different technical backgrounds and is led by a Senior Manager and a Manager. You will mainly work together with two other facility colleagues.

Position Overview
Ferrosan Medical Devices is investing in its Søborg headquarters, including a state-of-the-art factory and upgraded utilities, ensuring energy-efficient and compliant daily operations. To support these investments, we are now looking to strengthen our Technical Support & Utilities department by hiring a Senior Utility Engineer. You will take responsibility for ensuring our production processes, especially in cleanroom environments, are always in a validated state.

Your role
As a Senior Utility Engineer, your main responsibility will be ensuring that our production processes and cleanroom environments comply with validation and qualification standards. You will be tasked with writing protocols and reports, handling deviations, managing Change Requests (CRs), and updating instructions. You will receive training in FeMD’s systems to support your tasks. In addition, you will contribute to continuous improvements and optimize our standards. Flexibility to, occasionally, work during weekends and holidays when needed.

  • Conduct cleanroom validation/qualification, including writing protocols and reports.
  • Handle deviations, manage Change Requests (CRs), and update instructions (training on FeMD’s systems will be provided).
  • Ensure continuous improvement and optimization of procedures in collaboration with the technical and production teams.
  • Support production and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
  • Take on SME responsibilities in other areas as needed.

About you
We are looking for a technically skilled and experienced Senior Utility Engineer who can work both independently and collaboratively across teams. You should be able to approach challenges analytically, have a structured work style, and adapt to a dynamic production environment.

  • Experience with cleanroom validation/qualification, including writing protocols and reports.
  • Ability to write and manage deviations, Change Requests (CRs), and update instructions.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays when required.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to take on SME roles in other areas as necessary.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with audits is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of automation is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
