Join Siemens Gamesa, a global leader in renewable energy solutions, as a Student Worker in the Deployment Platform team. If you are passionate about technology and excited by the opportunity to contribute to the green energy revolution, this is your chance to make a real impact!

As part of our team, you’ll support the deployment of platforms that power critical renewable energy solutions, helping streamline processes that enable cleaner and more sustainable energy sources.

This is a hybrid role offering a flexible schedule of 10-25 hours per week, ideal for students pursuing an IT-related degree. Physical attendance is expected once or twice a week, depending on agreement with your manager, and will take into consideration your educational commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in configuring, deploying, and maintaining the Deployment Platform systems.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure with a focus on Linux-based systems.
  • Assist in automating tasks and managing configurations using Ansible (beneficial but not required).
  • Support containerized applications using Docker (basic knowledge required) and Kubernetes (knowledge beneficial).
  • Work with the Deployment Platform team to solve technical issues and contribute to the optimization of platforms that enable green energy solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an IT-related education (e.g., Computer Science, IT Engineering, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Linux is required.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker is required.
  • Knowledge of Ansible and Kubernetes is beneficial, but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
