The role
We are looking for a colleague to join our Clinical Application Specialist team in Odense, Denmark.
The purpose of this position is to leverage the healthcare knowledge and experience to successfully scope and implement Blue Ocean Robotics service robots. This role requires you to be customer-facing and engage with stakeholders, partners, Blue Ocean Robotics sales team and robot specialists.
As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will be conducting end-user training on-site and aiding end-users in identifying and succeeding with the best possible way to integrate a service robot into their workflows. A typical robot implementation is a five steps approach; Site surveying, installation scoping, product installation, integration and installation follow-up. A Clinical Application Specialist will work in close collaboration with the respective regional sales team in order to provide support in presales, implementation and post-sales follow-up.
Your main tasks will be to provide application service for UVD robots to customers and distributors, herein under:
- Responsible for the customer's success including installation of the robots and ongoing relationship.
- Training of users and superusers, be the first point of contact in all support and service matters, integration of robots into cleaning and disinfection work flows, design and or redesign of work flows, validation of efficacy and business cases.
- Execute on up selling opportunities.
- Support Sales Reps. with demonstrations, trials, customer meetings, etc.
- Install and optimize the robot’s configuration and customer’s workflow to match the customer’s requirements and meet disinfection targets.
- Set up a measurement protocol to prove the efficiency and efficacy of the robot in the customer’s application.
- Analyze, conclude on and present data and results to key stakeholders at hospitals in collaboration with Sales representatives.
- Deliver technical and use-related feedback from robot installations to our product development team.
- Traveling is an important part of the job up to 80% of the working time, typically done by car in Denmark and by plane, and the trips typically range from 2-4 days.
You are based in Odense, Denmark.
Competencies:
You have experience navigating and interacting with stakeholders and users in the healthcare or life science environment, preferably within sales and or infection prevention. Moreover, you also have a flair for understanding and applying technical products in a dynamic environment. Further skills required:
- Educational background at Bachelor/Diploma level in healthcare-related domains
- Healthcare or life science market experience within hospital hygiene, infection prevention and control, microbiology, or similar is desired.
- Fluent in spoken and written English at a professional level.
- Experience with Clinical Application Service for medical devices or technological devices used in healthcare applications.
- Teaching and training experience is preferred.
- You have great presentation and communication skills to mixed audiences and can get your points across to both high-profile stakeholders and users.
- You will be working with our latest technologies and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- You are proactive and have a customer service mindset in everything you do.
- Analytical approach and good at problem solving.
- Self motivating, structured and productive with a good overview.
