Actief-Hartmanns are looking for a customer focused Field Application Engineer to provide technical support to the sales team and customers

Role Overview
The purpose of this position is to work as a team member to provide the highest level of customer service for our internal and external customers by evaluating customer requirements and providing technical recommendations on existing and new products. The position also maintains existing standard products and implements product range enhancements. The technical sales support also supports the Sales Teams with commercially viable solutions, which will result in the growth of the business and Norgren achieving its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- To actively assist the sales teams, achieve sales targets by identifying and delivering commercially viable, value-added customized solutions
- Expertly manage technical aspects of customer enquiries
- Develop and work with a wide-ranging network to enhance professional and technical knowledge to allow support of full product range
- Learn in-depth new product features and benefits and support customers/sales
- Manage the technical enquiries email inbox, to give technical support to our key customers
You will report directly to Field Application Engineering and Technical Support manager in UK.
To evaluate if you fit as a perfect candidate to Norgren you should be able to recognize some of the following skills,
Professional skills
- College degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering / electrical engineering / Electronics / Power Electronics
- 2-3 years of experience within the product area (Valve Islands and Pneumatic circuit – design and component selection) are preferable but not a must
- Understanding of electrical circuit design and experience in Control systems, motors and drive functions, sizing, and calculation
- Ability and willingness to travel (semi-frequently)
- Good command of current standard software (MS Office)
- Experience with CAD software and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Danish and English in speaking and writing is essential
