The Opportunity

As a communication specialist at EY Finland, you are part of the Nordic Brand, Marketing and Communications team and you will support our communications by working on both planning and day-to-day tasks, helping us connect with our employees and the public. You will work closely together with a team of communication advisors and storytellers across the Nordics in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and India.

At EY, we have a 360 view on our communications, which means we work in close collaboration between PR, employer branding, employee communication and marketing.

This is a fixed-term position for family leave substitute from December 1st, 2024 to November 30th, 2025.

Your key responsibilities

  • Initiating and driving communication activities internally and externally
  • Offering expert communication guidance and enhance various projects with your sharp writing and editing skills, from scripts to social media and speeches to articles
  • Contributing to PR activities such as conducting proactive media relations and supporting our spokespersons contacts with the media

Skills and attributes for success

You are an experienced communicator with excellent language skills in Finnish and English.

  • You are a great and efficient writer, with a keen eye for details. You understand how to get key messages across to target audiences.
  • You are structured and a good organizer with project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • You have a good ability to build trust and are a true team player.

To qualify for the role, we expect you to have:

  • Master or higher degree of relevance (e.g., communication or marketing)
  • Proven track record of 3-5 years within corporate communications

Ideally, you will also

  • Thrive in an international environment
  • You are result-oriented and demonstrate integrity, respect and teaming when working with your colleagues

What you can expect
