Key Responsibilities

• Continuous Delivery: Implement a Continuous Delivery approach for all infrastructure within Azure, utilizing:
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient resource provisioning.
  • A configuration management platform to automate deployments.
  • Monitoring tools for Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
  • Backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Implement robust security measures and manage access controls within the Azure environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest Azure roles and responsibilities, recommending their implementation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to security best practices and compliance standards across all Azure services.

Professional Competencies

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience working with cloud-based services.
• Expertise in the Azure platform, including in-depth knowledge of Azure services such as virtual machines, virtual networks, storage solutions, and Entra ID (AAD).
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell and Python, for automating tasks and deploying Azure solutions.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep for efficient resource management.
• Ability to design and architect Azure IaaS solutions tailored to business requirements, optimizing for resource utilization, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Knowledge of Azure networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, and security groups, with experience implementing network security groups (NSGs), firewalls, and VPN gateways.
• Commitment to staying current with Azure services, features, and industry best practices.

This is a full time position based at Terma premises in Brasov, Romania. The starting date is expected to be 1st of December 2024
