Description
Are you passionate about organizational culture, communication and knowledge sharing?
We are seeking a driven and experienced senior professional to take ownership of our shared intranet and knowledge platform.

This position offers you a unique opportunity to lead the development of an enhanced intranet designed for collaboration and communication across the growing organizations of the Novo Nordisk Foundation and Novo Holdings.

As a Knowledge Manager, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of our shared intranet platform, Novo Locus, ensuring it remains a relevant and valuable resource for all employees. Moreover, you will play a central part in driving and envisioning the strategic approach for the platform’s development to accommodate the evolving needs of our organization.

You will have the responsibility to collaborate with colleagues across various departments and levels within the organization to understand how to align intranet capabilities with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. The overarching goal is to ensure the intranet serves as an engaging platform for all employees, supporting knowledge sharing and cultural adherence across our global offices.

You will have the opportunity to blend your interpersonal and creative skills to ensure a visually engaging platform and enhance knowledge accessibility. The position does not require proficient technical competencies, but the ability to approach tasks and information in a structured and logical manner is key.

Who are we
You will become part of a team consisting of 13 colleagues who work closely together to ensure that Corporate IT is continuously supporting business needs and strategic goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment of a growing organization. This is done in close collaboration with our outsourcing partner, multiple technology vendors, and key stakeholders across the organisations.

The role
The primary focus of this role will be to ensure an intranet and knowledge platform fit for current and future organizational needs, and afterwards manage the new and enhanced intranet platform.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Scope, drive, and implement an Intranet 2.0 project
  • Manage and continuously improve the intranet to ensure it remains a dynamic and relevant resource for information sharing, communication, and collaboration.
  • Engage in dialogue with relevant stakeholders to define, plan, and execute changes and improvements, from conception to implementation.
  • Establish and manage governance structures and ensure accountability among key stakeholders
  • Ensure structure and logical indexation of information across the intranet platform.
  • Support organizational transitions and changes, including organizational scalability and internationalization.
  • Enhance knowledge accessibility and quality (e.g., guidelines, handbooks, process overviews, self-service tools).
  • Ensure a platform that accommodates cultural adherence and promotes communication across a global organization.
  • Ensure a visually appealing intranet with high quality content and information.

Personal and professional qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably from a global organization.
  • Strong change management skills and the ability to drive and manage large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across the organization.
  • A structured and methodical approach to organizing and indexing information (a "library science" mindset). Preferably experience with knowledge or document management.
  • Good business acumen and the ability to link strategic objectives to communication needs.
  • An understanding of SharePoint or a willingness to learn the technical platform on which the intranet operates.
  • Ability to identify technological opportunities and general knowhow of the technical landscape of relevant products and solutions
