IT Operations Specialist

Help ensure solid application operations
In the position of IT Operations Specialist, you will assist our Supporters and Software Developers in troubleshooting and operational security on our global platforms. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure the operation of the infrastructure to our mobile reading platform and the associated platforms. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the implementation of ongoing releases and updates of the existing applications such as data center tools and the associated infrastructure in Azure and on-premises solutions.

More specifically you will be:

• Installing and configuring Kamstrup’s software and monitor tools across different devices
• Responsible for configuration management of across our products to ensure longevity and customer satisfaction
• Conducting ongoing optimization and maintenance of operational tasks and new releases
• Performing 3rd level support on customer systems in collaboration with other technical experts

Meet your future team
With a direct reference to our Head of Hosting HCW, you will become a part of our 3rd level operations department consisting of 8 experienced colleagues located in Denmark and the US. Together we manage the installation, configuration, service, and support of the IT solutions to Kamstrup’s customers. In the team, you will work closely with a group of dedicated Technicians who value collaboration and an informal tone highly. The team is characterized by a large degree of freedom to act, as well as with frequent professional sparring across different areas of expertise.

Did you know? Despite a geographic distance of more than 7.000 kilometers, the team connects every day and meet up twice a year in Denmark for a couple of weeks.

Less about us, more about you
We are looking for an ambitious IT Operations Specialist who is driven by the desire to deliver the best IT solutions possible. Experience with for example Microsoft certifications, IIS, SQL, and Server 2016/2019/2022, as well as PowerShell is considered an advantage but not a requirement.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

• Have 3 or more years of experience in a similar role within large-scale IT operations
• Thrive in an outgoing role, and are able to create high-quality results when collaborating
• Are openminded and enjoy examining and sharing new technologies and ways of working
• Have an analytical and structure approach to your tasks
