Ensure seamless application operation and monitoring
In the position of Site Reliability Engineer, you will assist our Supporters and Software Developers in troubleshooting and operational security on our global platforms. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure the operation of our applications, services, and infrastructure of our mobile reading platform and the associated platforms. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the implementation of ongoing releases and updates of the existing applications such as data center tools and the associated infrastructure in Azure and on-premises solutions.
More specifically you will work with:
- The installation and configuration of Kamstrup’s software and monitoring tools
- Configuration and application management
- Ongoing optimization and maintenance of operational tasks and new releases
- 3rd level operations and maintenance of our platforms
Meet your future team
With direct reference to our Head of Hosting HCW, you will become a part of our ambitious 3rd level operations team consisting of 8 experienced colleagues located in Denmark and the US. Together we manage the installation, configuration, service, and operations of the IT solutions to Kamstrup’s customers. In the team, you will work closely with a group of dedicated Technicians who value collaboration, informal communication, and having fun along the way.
Did you know that despite the geographic distance of more than 7.000 kilometers, the team connects every day and meet up twice a year in Denmark for a couple of weeks.
Less about us, more about you
We are looking for an ambitious Site Reliability Engineer who is driven by the desire to deliver high quality IT solutions through a solid background in Azure infrastructure and application operations. You have a background as a data technician or computer scientist or similarly combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience with physical or cloud IT operations from a larger company , in which you have worked with large-scale operations. As our platform is mostly Azure based, it is a requirement that you have experience with this.
In order to succeed, we consider it an advantage if you have:
- Basic understanding of Cloud architecture and FinOps
- Experience with IaaS, Paas, IaC, Azure monitor and automation of alerts
- Experience with incident response, troubleshooting, cloud networking, and cloud security
- A preference for applying ITIL principles and work with a structured and an analytical approach
- Automation and scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools
