Bang & Olufsen’s finance team in Sofia is expanding. We are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee a multitude of controlling and auditing projects in close collaboration with colleagues in Denmark. Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) together with the rest of the team for both local entities and the group
• Perform controlling tasks (monthly, quarterly, yearly) ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting according to IFRS for both local entities and the group
• Coordinate the audit process for the entities you are responsible for
• Responsible for preparing financial statements and supporting the general preparation process according to local GAAP and assist with tax calculations
• Deliveries of documentation to auditors on group and local level
• Assist with relevant financial tasks

What you bring
We are seeking someone with 2-4 years of experience from an audit firm or working within a finance function in a global organization, ideally with a relevant educational background in finance, auditing or management accounting.
Moreover, you bring:

• Experience with financial controlling
• Practice with preparing financial statements
• Experience with preparing documentation for auditors
• Understanding of data analysis
• IT skills – ERP systems, Excel, Power BI
• Detail-oriented, analytical and a structured approach to tasks
• Innovative and continuously focused on improving processes
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working cross-functionally
• Comprehensive planning and execution skills
• Fluency in English

You will join the Financial Controlling & Consolidation team consisting of 8 dedicated colleagues located in 4 different places in Europe. You will work closely together with other stakeholders within the finance community and the rest of the organisation in achieving our goals. You will work from the Sofia office but also cooperate closely with the office in Denmark and globally.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Travel: Approx. 20-25 days per year
