The Role: HBK’s Sound and Vibration Strategic Customer Project team is seeking a hands-on Technical Solution Engineer to join our team onsite in Virum, Denmark. This role requires a unique blend of technical as well as collaborative skillsets. Our team delivers strategic and complex project solutions to global customers, utilizing the HBK product portfolio with a focus on sound and vibration within the Automotive and Aerospace and Defence markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration & Solution Design: Work closely with wider HBK. As Technical Solution Engineer you will partner with Solution Architects, Product Teams and Project Managers to define the technical solution scope including hardware and software deliverables as well as PC and network components.
- Implementation & Testing: Set up, configure, and test data acquisition solutions to meet customer requirements. Define acceptance criteria, conduct integration and acceptance tests, to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Documentation & Tools: Create technical documents, including system descriptions, compliance responses, and engineering documentation. Maintain and improve our project management tools and infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: A BSc/MSc degree in Engineering with experience in either electrical, acoustic/vibration or mechanical areas.
- Technical Skills: Experience of Data Acquisition (DAQ) solutions (HW/SW) as well as an ability to define, configure and setup computer, servers etc. in data recording and analysis solutions.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS office applications (experience of MS Access, SQL databases, etc. is desirable). Knowledge in scripting languages in a Windows environment would be desirable.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance required for working with international defense and security organizations.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
