The opportunities we have are significant when looking across the Nordic portfolio of partners and to deliver on this growth strategy, we are looking to extend our team with an Institutional Relationship Manager.
We are looking for a candidate with a track record of building relationships with decision makers at financial institutions in the Nordics. You will be proficient in mapping out the various verticals and reporting lines for each of our partners and aligning their future vision with Saxo’s scalable solutions and services. In addition, any experience in marketing to clients in a B2C business would be extremely relevant as you will need to put together Go To Market plans with our partners to inspire and activate their client base to trade and invest on the digital platform.
As our new colleague your primary focus will be the commercial contact for partners within your portfolio and to align their future aspirations with Saxo’s vision and strategy. In building great relationships with decisions makers, you will identify other synergies and opportunities to grow revenues as well as reducing capital and operational expenditures for partners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow your individual portfolio and exceed the individual annual sales target.
- Be the lead point of contact for all key clients matter and our clients and Saxo to jointly succeed.
- Build and expand your knowledge of our clients including their business model and trading practices to ensure that our risk/reward relationship is always appreciated. Moreover, understand the client’s overall strategy, as well as financial and operating strategies and recommend alternative or additional services to best meet the client's short-term and long-term needs.
- Monitor and analyze relationship results and client activities to determine client profitability
- Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders, hereunder to ensure that marketing is involved for go-to-market strategies in the early stage as well as Saxo Institutional Service on account reviews related to satisfaction level.
- Drive account planning with the client’s senior decision makers to identify business growth opportunities and collaborate with our clients’ teams to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling.
- Identify, develop, and build profitable relationships, while also being aware of competitive products, practices, rates and changes in markets conditions.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Relationship management, Ensure alignment on expectation and necessary focus in the early phase of the relationship.
Your profile:
As a person you are passionate, results-driven and entrepreneurial. Further, you are a seasoned professional adept at creating trust and building lasting relationships, including with c-level counterparts. You take ownership and work structured to create and deliver on pipeline and cross sell opportunities with clients.
Moreover, we are looking for the following qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the financial markets and FinTech industry, preferably from an investment, business development or tech background.
- Consulting or solution sales skills
- Knowledge of how to apply IT solutions to business challenges and previous exposure to B2B and B2C client segments is very relevant.
- C-level network in the Nordic B2B and B2B2C market (mainly in banks) is a big plus for this specific role.
- Fluency in English, Danish/Nordic languages are desirable, but not mandatory
