Senior IT Deployment Engineer

Our Global Information Technology department operates the global internal IT landscape of the BEUMER Group with more than 5,500 employees and external partners. As a Senior IT Deployment Engineer your workplace will be one of our IT hubs in Aarhus, Denmark, or Beckum, Dortmund, Germany.

The job
As a senior deployment engineer you are operational responsible for our global deployment infrastructure based on Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager in close collaboration with our IT infrastructure team. More specifically, your tasks will include:

• Building and coordinating our global deployment team on a day-to-day basis as well involving external partners in the process.

• Building application packages and orchestrate the complete application lifecycle from the application request, packaging, testing until final deployment for new applications or application updates.
• Further developing our deployment infrastructure in accordance with the company requirements and have an eye on latest trends and technologies regarding application deployment.
• Troubleshooting deployments in our IT landscape in close collaboration with our Global Service Desk.
• Actively developing our packaging guidelines and documentation further and make sure that they are followed globally to ensure the right quality in our application deployment process.
• Establishing a transparent reporting, define KPI's and monitor the rollout status together with our Global Operations team.

Your qualifications
This role calls for a candidate with a profound knowledge in areas such as Windows OS, Intune and System Center Configuration Manager, packaging, PowerShell Scripting, as well as in the distribution of operating systems and applications. With your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, you are great at troubleshooting to find the right solution to the challenge

Moreover, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• A relevant education within Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Some years of experience from a similar position, ideally in an international company
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate) are a plus.
• Fluency in English
