Corporate Tax Specialist - Aarhus

From Arla’s headquarters in Aarhus, you will be part of the central Group Tax team and Arla’s wider Global Tax team consisting of 14 specialist in 5 countries. You will be an important part of making things happen and in building the future capabilities of the tax department.

How you will make an impact
You will get a unique opportunity to work with a wide area of tax-related tasks in a professional but informal environment. To succeed, you establish yourself as a trusted business partner, applying your talent for structured process management, ensuring that the guidance you provide leads to sound decisions, high compliance and support from all stakeholders involved.

Your main responsibilities will include to:

• Take lead on fulfilling our Danish direct tax compliance requirements ensuring that we meet our filing requirements and stay compliant.

• Work closely together with our accounting teams, performing tax accounting, tax forecasting and tax reporting related to our Danish and Group-wide financials.

• Maintain and contribute to our tax governance and tax controlling frameworks, liaising with tax authorities, our auditors and external tax advisors.

• Continuously develop and streamline our tax controlling and tax reporting processes.

• Proactively provide high-quality tax advice to/and liaise with other departments, acting independently as the first point of contact for various tax matters.

What will make you successful
You are ready to put your knowledge of direct taxes and tax accounting into practice in a large global and dynamic organisation. In addition, we expect that you:

• Hold a master’s degree within accounting, tax, finance or equivalent, giving you a thorough understanding of taxation.

• Have preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience from a similar in-house position or from consulting (tax and/or audit).

• Have solid knowledge and experience within Danish corporate income tax compliance, tax accounting and preferably also international corporate taxation.

• Are fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken).

• Have a flair for the use of digital tools/systems and/or a desire to learn. Furthermore, experience with SAP and/or other financial reporting systems is a plus.
