Job Summary
We are now hiring for a Planning & Logistics Manager in our Additional Material factory at Tetra Pak Inventing A/S in Hjørring!

As our new Planning & Logistics manager you will report to the Factory Director and be a member of the Factory Management Team. Your key responsibilities include leading the factory logistics and planning team, develop their capabilities and manage back-ups and succession.

This is a permanent position based in Hjørring, Denmark.

What you will do
You will lead the internal functions of purchase, production planning, warehouse and logistics as well as office related processes defined through our World Class Manufacturing Supply Chain and Office Pillar route. You will have the daily management responsibility for a team of 4 people, where you ensure the collaboration and teamwork both within the factory and with the global stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and optimize internal demand and supply operations
• Production planning and optimization regarding inventory days and stock levels
• Local purchase according to internal processes.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including warehouse operations
• Lead the Supply Chain and Office Pillar as a part of our WCM improvement program
• Collaborate and benchmark with other Supply Chain organizations within the Tetra Pak Group

We believe you have
We believe that you are a person with proactive attitude and able to thrive well under pressure and make priorities. Your drive is to optimize the supply chain, and you are familiar working with value stream mapping and other lean tools. You have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop effective relationships and gain credibility on all levels in an international organization. You are open minded, able to listen to your stakeholders, and show a high level of customer orientation and drive for productivity. You have an innovative approach to digital tools and good knowledge of continuous improvement methods and their application.

You should also have:

• A university degree in Engineering or another relevant field
• Experience in manufacturing and distribution
• Experience from logistics, shipping and planning
• Experience from managerial positions
• Experienced with SAP and Power BI/BO reporting
• Fluent in Danish and English
