About the role
Our business unit Health and Medical, are now looking for a Global Brand Digital Manager to join for a maternity cover fixed term position. In this position you will lead, inspire, and develop the Global Digital Communication team of six people.

This role will see you responsible for driving digital maturity across all markets as well as developing and implementing the digital comms strategy for all medical brands.

You cooperate closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders mainly based in Europe and US, such as product management, medical affairs, regulatory, ebusiness & ecommerce, lead markets and external agencies.

The position is a hybrid fixed-term full-time role, based in Mannheim, Hamburg, Dunstable, Philadelphia, or Gothenburg. This role reports to the Global Marketing Communication Director Medical located in Gothenburg.

  • Lead, develop, and inspire the team.
  • Your team of direct reports is responsible for execution in the following areas, across all Medical brands (JOBST, Leukoplast, Cutimed, Actimove, Delta-Cast): brand websites, SEO, measurement, ecommerce content, global social media strategy & guidelines, supporting with digital best practice and content creation via comms toolkits, management of Global PIM (Product Information Management), DAM (Digital Asset Management).
  • Drive the Digital Strategy across Health & Medical digital platforms (websites, social, SEO, ecommerce) with direct oversight on execution.
  • Ensure alignment of the Digital Communications Strategy with Brand, Communications, and Category strategies.
  • Manage social media strategy and guidelines to ensure global brand consistency and best practices.
  • Maintain and implement SEO strategy and guidelines, focusing on insights, measurement, and continuous improvement of online content.
  • Guide digital campaign asset creation and content best practices across brands.
  • Leverage cross-brand synergies and oversee test and learn initiatives across digital channels and campaigns.
  • Manage external agencies and foster collaboration across departments, including brand teams, product management, medical affairs, lead markets, and digital functions.
  • Oversee digital budget management, ensuring alignment with yearly and quarterly business planning.
  • Act on consumer insights and trends, competitive analysis, and industry changes, communicating their impact on brand performance.

  • Enjoying fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with a university degree or equivalent education in Marketing and/or Digital.
  • Having proven experience in Digital Brand Marketing within an agency or global brand, ideally in a regulated industry, experience in briefing and leading agencies and enthusiastic about building brands in healthcare and B2B.
  • Having leadership experience with at least one direct report.
  • Eager to explore markets and interact, with approximately 40% travel time.
  • Having strong relationship management skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships, navigating organizational dynamics, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Capable of explaining digital topics to non-digital audiences, and experienced in digital planning, content management, and utilizing industry reporting tools like GA, GSC, Hotjar, SEMrush.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills.

  • Final interview (30 min)
