Business Controller

Join Essity, a global leader in hygiene and health, as a Controller for one of our Business Units (BU) or a cluster of significant countries within a BU. You'll play a key role in analyzing complete financials, ensuring smooth monthly consolidations, and supporting long-term financial planning. This is a dynamic opportunity to shape the financial future of a Business Unit while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and consolidate the financials (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) of a Business Unit or a cluster of different manufacturing plants;
- Contribute to the monthly financial consolidation and the long-term financial planning process;
- Conduct cost center analysis and monitor Business Unit performance, identifying deviations and trends;
- Provide financial insights and support to the BU Management Team on operational matters;
- Help define reporting guidelines and ensure alignment with Corporate Finance standards;
- Play a key role in budgeting and forecasting for the Business Unit or a cluster of different manufacturing plants;
- Actively participate in cross-BU controlling activities, ensuring smooth collaboration;
- Ensure compliance with Essity’s policies, including MICR standards and legal regulations.
Who You Are
- Strong background in financial controlling, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis;
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights;
- Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably with exposure to different markets;
- Familiarity with corporate finance policies and compliance regulations;
- Proficient in financial reporting tools and systems, with advanced Excel skills;
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
