The position
In this dynamic role, you will lead the initiation and execution of innovative commercial projects with a clear link and prioritization towards our overall ambition. Collaborating closely with strategic partners, you’ll drive key initiatives that improve access to high-quality care while supporting Novo Nordisk’s long-term vision.

You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams to explore new business opportunities, pilot fresh approaches, and ensure that innovation remains at the heart of the affiliate's growth strategy.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead and execute business innovation projects that align with the affiliate’s patient-centric goals, driving transformative initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop strategic partnerships, identifying and exploring new business opportunities that support the company’s vision for future growth.
  • Pilot new digital solutions and spearhead innovative approaches, acting as the go-to expert for launching and testing cutting-edge projects.
  • Facilitate innovation workshops at both strategic and operational levels, engaging customers and cross-functional teams to generate forward-thinking ideas and initiatives.
  • Identify and deliver sustainable growth opportunities across the affiliate’s existing and future portfolio, ensuring projects align with business goals and foster long-term success.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should have a background in innovation management or digital business administration, with a strong preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong expertise in digital solutions and business innovation, along with a proven understanding of business dynamics and external partnerships, is essential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Educational background in innovation management or business innovation.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Healthcare sector.
  • Solid experience in digital solutions and business innovation.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and external partnerships.
  • Explorative mindset, open to experimenting with unproven business models.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and networking skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with experience in starting or considering a business.
  • Fluency in both Danish and English.

About the department
The Customer Engagement & Commercial Innovation department in Novo Nordisk Denmark is a truly customer oriented organisation supporting the Danish affiliate with in-depth customer understanding and insights to ensure that we cater to the needs of our customers, to future-proof a commercial model that supports sustainable business growth, closely aligned with our ambitions for ‘A Healthier Danmark’ – specifically in regards to reaching more and new HCPs with high quality and ensuring that we serve the right patients with the right treatment.

The department consists of a diverse group of highly dedicated professionals. The team is characterised by a lot of energy, enterprise thinking and trust. The team is ambitious, and the pace is high, and the tone is informal and there is a fun and good spirited atmosphere in the department.
