Your role and responsibilities
We are experts in measurement and automation technologies, passionate in serving our customers with the best digitally enabled solutions to fit their needs, quickly, reliably and with a global service, network to support them. The division Measurement & Analytics develops, produces, sells, delivers and services products and solutions to enable industrial and energy customers to operate more efficiently and profitably. The business Line Analytical within the Division covers Process and Water Analytics as well as related services. As a Customer Support Specialist you will be responsible for all customer support processes within a designated market in accordance with our strategy. You will build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. As a Customer Support Specialist you will prepare and coordinate customer offers, orders and after-sales support activities. As a Customer Support Specialist you will prepare and coordinate customer offers, orders and after-sales support activities. In this role you will cover the whole cycle from “Quote to Cash” • Customer support - Ensures support to the Sales organization during the sales cycle and provides support as needed. Ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g. order, technical, payment) by coordinating with relevant persons. Develops, implements, and maintains customer support processes. Participates in customer support related development projects (e.g. tools, competences, resources). • Proposal – Prepare proposals through internal and external resources. Ensure all proposals follow relevant ABB procedures. • Order Handling - Processes orders to ensure that customers receive accurate and timely delivery of products, and acts as first port of call to customers’ questions and orders. Builds long-term and sustainable customer relationships, and prioritizes the work according to the defined criteria, in order to ensure consistent customer satisfaction. • Purchasing – Purchases products from feeder factories or third party supplier and follow up on deliveries. • Logistics – Effectively control inbound and outbound shipping of products to customers. Handles import and export. Coordinate warehouse and ensures on time delivery based on customer request. • Invoicing – Issue invoices and payments to customer and factories in coordination with Sales and the financial controller. Follow up on overdue payments. • Organization – Support cross business-line activities and act as backup if and when needed. Share best practices and lesson learned.

Qualifications for the role

  • Technical/Polytechnic education or Bachelor-degree, in automation, electrical, IT, sales / marketing or other relevant skills that complement the requirements for the job.
  • Early career starter, with at least three years of Internal Sales relevant experience.
  • You must enjoy working in an international environment and motivated to build internal and external relationships and networks.
  • You are a teamplayer; however you must also be able to work independently.
  • You have good experience in Order Management tools, such as SAP, Sales Force (SFDC) and have good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be ambitious, creative and customer oriented
  • Must thrives in a hectic environment and be able to work structured and targeted
