About You
You are a compassionate professional who has a strong attention for detail and consistently delivers high-quality work. You will act as a crucial team member to the Americas Operations team providing support to our people operations and recruiting function. Typical qualifications for a People Operations Coordinator:

  • Post-high school education and/or relevant training or experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in people operations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong judgement, ability to use discretion, and experience working effectively with staff and senior management, with a proactive, responsive and collaborative work style
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and perform well in a growing and entrepreneurial organization, and/or within professional services and/or social sector
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and experience or ability to learn various HRIS/talent management tools
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment (both in-office and remotely as needed) and adaptability to collaborate across various time zones
  • Fluency in English is required

WHAt You Will Do and How You Will Grow
The People Operations Coordinator is a critical member of the Dalberg Americas Operations team supporting Dalberg’s 6 locations in the Americas: Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Bogotá, and Mexico City. Reporting to the People Operations Manager, the People Ops Coordinator will support various Human Resources, recruiting, and staffing responsibilities. The People Ops Coordinator also works closely with global counterparts to ensure uniform and integrated operations across Dalberg offices worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • US HR Coordination: Assist with visa verification, HR documentation, and leave management. Ensure updates are communicated to relevant teams.
  • Semi-Annual Review Coordination: Oversee the preparation of materials for Semi-Annual Review meetings, including the integration of project and regional reports, and manage notetaking during the meetings.
  • Staffing Support: Assist with staffing opportunities, maintain weekly utilization and Business Development reports, manage staffing microsite updates, and communicate staffing confirmations.
  • Employee Brand & Thought Leadership Support: Reviewing project summaries, working with GenAI to draft communications pieces and support team members to elevate their personal brand recognition. Coordinate with the communications team to elevate employee identity and increase awareness of our culture & employee value proposition.
  • ERP & System Coordination: Oversee timesheet approvals, PTO accruals, and absence and allowance requests. Provide training for new hires on system usage and ensure accurate data tracking.

Our current opportunity is in Washington DC.

Salary: The annual compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 – $65,000. Our salary structure is designed to be in line with that of non-profit and social impact organizations, reflecting our dedication to social impact work. This is distinct from management consultancies, which predominantly cater to commercial clients.

Benefits: Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package encompasses medical, dental, and vision coverage, parental leave, disability leave, 401k match, US student loan repayment assistance, and paid time off.

Staff will be expected to work near our offices and work 2-3 days/week in the office.

Employment in Dalberg's US offices is contingent on the candidate having the requisite authorization to live and work permanently in the US.
