What’s the job
We are looking for a passionate Vice President for our Service Management area within the Business Unit Hygienic Fluid Handling. As a key contributor to our Business Unit, you will play a vital part in shaping and executing a comprehensive service sales strategy that strengthens our relationships with partners and customers. Your mission will be to drive profitable growth in our after-sales operations, including service and spare parts, through various initiatives.

This includes marketing and sales support activities, developing internal and external competencies, and innovating new service products. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that our service offerings meet the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your responsibility is to:

  • Analyze, identify, and develop new business opportunities for current and new service sales & upgrade packages, by engaging global end-users and relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive the further development and roll-out of our sustainability packages
  • Drive the profitable growth of aftersales (service and spare parts) in general
  • Collaborate with Channel, R&D & Product Management by coordinating and driving aftersales activities and revenue streams.
  • Benchmark of competitors, identifying and further developing competitive advantages
  • Drive the global initiative, Superior Customer Experience Journey in Service Management
  • Initiate and drive activities with relevant stakeholders across Alfa Laval’s global organization increasing awareness and focus on current and future aftersales revenue streams
  • Be a developing and coaching manager for the Service Management team ensuring a clear direction and engaging and positive communication with stakeholders, sales companies, and channel partners

The position is based in Kolding, Denmark. Traveling is estimated to be 35-45 days a year

What you know
You hold a commercial education at bachelor’s, master’s, or MBA level and bring substantial leadership experience with a strategic mindset. You have a proven B2B track record in developing, managing, and driving strategic plans to grow the sales of aftermarket parts and services. Your extensive experience in global matrix organizations has equipped you with the ability to navigate complex environments and collaborate effectively across functions and regions. You also have a practical understanding of the digital transformation journey and how AI can be leveraged to meet evolving market demands. Your forward-thinking approach allows you to continuously explore innovative solutions and anticipate future needs, ensuring that your strategies are both relevant and future-proof.
