Increased investment in prevention and access to care for diabetes and related Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) is urgently needed and we believe that innovative financing mechanisms carry a great potential both for investors, corporates, DFI’s, and philanthropies. Through WDF’s Diabetes Investment Accelerator (DIA) initiative, we are exploring whether such models could be a way to scale up efforts and unlock new types of funding and partnering with various types of stakeholders.
