Compliance Specialist

Ørsted

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of our global Business Ethics Compliance team and work with business ethics compliance across the Group.

Welcome to Group Legal
You’ll be part of Business Ethics Compliance in Group Legal where you, together with your colleagues in Denmark, the US and APAC, will be responsible for ensuring that all employees comply with our Good Business Conduct Policy and supporting guidelines, incl. topics, such as anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, and governance guidelines. You’ll also be involved in the day-to-day handling and further development of our Know-Your-Customer programme, involving external business partners. As a team, we collaborate, share knowledge, and support each other across multiple jurisdictions. We have a great team spirit and value diversity.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • handling and further developing the Group’s good business conduct compliance programme, incl. our Good Business Conduct Policy and Know-Your-Customer programme
  • driving other business ethics compliance and governance projects across the Group, incl. the development and implementation of authorisation rules and signing procedures
  • conducting awareness trainings and presentations of our Good Business Conduct Policy
  • proactively assessing compliance risks, processes, and procedures to identify weaknesses, as well as implementing sound internal controls and procedures to mitigate these risks
  • collaborating with our internal audit function, finance department, procurement, and other Group teams when needed.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a solid theoretical background within, e.g., compliance, business ethics, legal, consultancy, or business administration
  • are well-organised and diligent
  • have a commercial and solution-oriented mindset and the bandwidth to understand complex processes
  • are curious and possess a strong moral compass
  • possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, enabling you to communicate and work effortlessly and smoothly with stakeholders
  • preferably have solid professional experience within compliance, governance, or internal controls.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
