What you will experience as a Scientific Business Developer with ChemoMetec:
We are looking for a scientific business developer to expand our business and support strategic operational tasks globally.

Your role will involve identifying and addressing customer challenges, transforming their needs into innovative, value-driven solutions. This requires a deep understanding of customer needs, competitor offerings, and market drivers across various industries and regions.

Your primary tasks will include:

  • Market Analysis: Analyzing industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements to identify new business opportunities.
  • Product Strategy: Helping to shape the development, commercialization, and positioning of new scientific products.
  • Sales and Marketing Support: Working with sales and marketing teams to translate complex scientific concepts into business opportunities or customer solutions.

You will be part of the Product Management team working closely together with both the Business Development and Marketing teams.

Are you curious and ambitious?
We are looking for top-tier candidates with a master’s degree in science, experience in marketing, and/or sales of technical products is a plus. The ideal candidate has:

  • First-hand experience with the biological disciplines including hands on experience with cells and cell cultures
  • Good project management skills with a commercial mindset
  • A well-organized approach to task management and is self-driven
  • The ability to understand both commercial and technical aspects of our business
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

We envision you as someone with a strong analytical commercial mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to understand our customers and market drivers. You are a team player who is also self-driven, working in a structured and analytical way to translate scientific insights into actionable recommendations. With excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you can operate at all levels within ChemoMetec, including with C-level managers, our R&D and marketing departments, as well as our customers and partners.

The practicalities:
You will report to our Vice President of Product and Support. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications. The position is based at our headquarters in Allerød, Denmark. The start date will be as soon as possible, and we will be interviewing candidates on an ongoing basis.
