You will be part of the commercial department that consists of 14 dedicated employees each specialized within their field. The group is dynamic, creative and from diverse backgrounds with various experience. The position will be based in our office in Allerød, Denmark.

The position
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by conducting market research, financial modeling, and competitive analysis. You'll work closely with our commercial and business development teams to shape strategic initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and provide insightful data-driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and risks in the oil and gas sector.
• Analyze competitor activities and potential technology threats.
• Perform financial modeling and analysis to assess the viability of new business opportunities and projects.
• Support the identification and evaluation of new business ventures, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Collaborate with commercial and business development teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and bid documents.
• Analyze strategies for new market entry, including mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of commercial contracts and proposals.
• Assess contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and suggest areas for improvement.
• Present data and findings effectively using PowerPoint and ThinkCell.

The candidate
The preferred candidate has the following profile:

• Strong analytical abilities, capable of structuring and interpreting unsystematized data into actionable insights.
• Expertise in GenAI tools for analysis and visualization.
• Familiarity with the Intervention or Completion processes in oil and gas (preferred).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercial expertise and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• University Degree in Business Administration, Business Analysis, or a related field is pref.
• Proficiency in English.
