About this opportunity
As Head of Management Oversight in Nordea Finance, you will be responsible for providing the expertise necessary for Nordea Finance to manage its risks, and associated risk and compliance processes. You will also play an important role in being the leader for three global teams with highly skilled risk managers that support a broad range of business operations. Furthermore, you will provide the necessary risk oversight for the Norde Finance Leadership Team and the expertise to support the units in Nordea Finance with their non-financial risk management needs, as well as facilitate and drive an efficient product approval process for the finance companies.

In practise, this means that you need to:

• Continue to further establish the new unit, including the creation of an operating model and executing upon relevant actions and recruitment needs
• Accountable for delivering strong results and follow up on strategy, objectives and results within the unit
• Be responsible for the risk management in Nordea Finance.
• Be point of entry / support central functions, 2nd and 3rd line for Nordea Finance
• Represent Nordea Finance in group forums and cross business area working groups
• Areas that you will cover are among other IT Risk Management, Nordea Finance governance and risk processes (e.g. issues, RCSA, BCM, incidents), new and existing regulations, etc.
• Be actively involved in the most important risk issues across Nordea Finance
• Support in developing and maintaining the strong risk culture and risk awareness

You will report directly to the COO of Nordea Finance (with a dotted reporting line into the head of Management Oversight in Business Banking) and will be part of NF COO Leadership team. Your experience and background:

• Experience working with establishing and structuring a new organisational unit, and working strategically with servicing multiple markets and business lines
• 5 - 10 years of experience of the risk and compliance management frameworks
• Experience of working with regulations
• Relevant university degree
• English spoken (Professional level) and English written (Professional level)
