In Global Communication and External Relations, we have a shared objective and ambition of building the sector of Biosolutions and positioning Novonesis as its leader - as the Head of External Communications you and your team will play a vital role in reaching this.

Who are we looking for
We are looking for a trusted senior executive advisor, who keeps calm and communicate clearly and effectively under pressure and in times of crisis - an inventive media relations expert with a collaborative mindset and a strong focus on cocreating with the other global teams IR, Risk, PA, and the commercial part of the business.

As Head of External Communications you will make an impact by:

• Developing a strong external communication strategy including media strategy and content strategy for SoMe

• Increasing presence in international tier 1 media to brand Novonesis and impact global agendas

• Collaborating on developing positions on key issues including alignment and sign off of key internal stakeholders and senior management

• Coordinate response to media enquiries, align and involve key internal stakeholders, lead alignment on position, prep spokespersons etc.

• Working closely with regional colleagues including proactive outreach on key events, support in crisis and deliver advise and sparring

What do you bring
As this is a global role, we believe that experience from a global listed company and a global cultural outlook are key to succeed in the role. We expect you to have:

• +10 years experience as a strategic communication advisor

• Solid experience as Head of Press

• Strong experience in working with top executives and management as well as influencing stakeholders throughout a global organization

• Strong network of international media contacts

• Ability to combine strategic communication with fast-paced tactical execution

• Strong interpersonal skills, understanding how to leverage networks and create results together with colleagues
