We are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing & Media to join the Danish Digital Sales & Engagement team with proven ability to lead and manage a team of digital marketing managers and paid media specialists.

You will be part of the local DS&E leadership team, collaborating on translating overall business objectives into comprehensive and impactful digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable sales and valuable customer engagements across Housing, Savings & Investment, Daily Banking and Consumer Lending.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Digital Sales & Engagement team. As a Head of Digital Marketing & Media you will take a pivotal role in continuously developing and driving the digital marketing & sales efforts toward Nordea’s personal banking customers and potential customers in Denmark, where relevance, personalisation, optimization and effect is key in everything we do.

What you'll be doing:

  • Strategy development: Take responsibility for the overall digital marketing & media unit strategy and deliver plan with cascading goals together with the local leadership team. Support and drive key initiatives that include but are not limited to; digital omni-channel optimization, customer centric marketing development, AI exploration and testing.
  • Team lead: Grow, engage, motivate, manage and lead by example a team of digital marketing professionals. Set individual & team performance and development goals, conduct quarterly evaluations and feedback sessions, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Process and performance management: Improve ways of working, oversee the planning, execution, optimization efforts and results of the digital marketing & media efforts.
  • Creative management: Identify and build the right creative development processes to support always on creative tests and concepts that can help deliver on the business goals.
  • Implementation lead: Drive the onboarding and training of new local capabilities.
  • Compliance management: Ensure brand identity, brand guidelines, legal and other marketing compliance regulations and processes are adhered to.
  • Budget and performance management & reporting

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience from a similar digital marketing leadership position that includes successfully leading direct reports, and fostering a positive team culture, and providing mentorship to a team of digital marketing specialists and managers
  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing & sales strategies directly aligned with business goals
  • Proven experience and passion for customer centric marketing, digital customer journeys and contributing to the best omni-channel experience
  • Vast experience in stakeholder management & cross-functional collaboration to ensure aligned marketing efforts
  • Technology proficiency; staying updated on AI, automation and digital marketing tools and platforms and benefits
  • Passion for market research & identifying new use-cases to stay ahead of the curve
  • Managed legal and compliance processes for digital marketing
  • Comprehensive data analysis experience and skills, including experience with Adobe analytics, and/or other web analytics tools
  • Strong communication skills in presenting goals, strategies and results
  • Strong budget management skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Danish & English is a requirement (professional level)
  • Master’s degree in marketing, advertising, business or related field. Equivalent years of working experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
