We are now looking for a Project Control Manager who can contribute to Aibel's exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition.
About the position
Are you an ambitious senior manager with a strong commercial mindset? If yes, this can be the right position for you. The Project Control Manager will work close to operation and will play a key role in the project management group, ensuring that we are delivering according to our business ambitions. Additionally, you have the ability to inspire and engage people and provide team with a clear sense of direction.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Manage the overall financial project portfolio according to Contract, authority regulations, Aibel work processes and customer expectations
- Provide project management with commercial and contractual project analysis to ensure correct management decisions
- Proactively search for commercial opportunities and ensure materialization of these
- Ensure optimal commercial utilization of Contract and resolve contractual issues
- Communicate with all parties involved in the contract to ensure that all understand the terms, particularly the Contract's financial aspects
- Assess risks and make recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation
- Change Management
- Proactively search for improvements of tools and processes
- Financial reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, secure result
Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, Master of Science or equivalent (master level). Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications
- Commercial Manager/Project Control Manager/Contract Manager from the energy industry or other relevant/similar experience

- Ability to establish and develop good client and or supplier relationship and behave in a professional way
- Ability to build good working relations, internally and across other departments and disciplines
- Strong contractual and negotiation skills
