We are seeking a student assistant to join our Danish Product Design & Application team in Hørsholm. In this role, you'll have an impact on continuously improving our application center. You will collaborate closely with our scientists and technicians.

Welcome to….
The Product Design & Application team is a vital part of Human Health Biosolutions (HHB), and we specialize in creating science-based biosolutions for our customers, focusing on the formulation, implementation, and troubleshooting of solid dosage forms containing pre-, post-, and probiotics. We develop innovative products, both with and without additional nutrients, produce consumer samples, and scale up product manufacturing.

Our team consists of 14 members -12 academics and 2 technicians - ranging from newly graduated to highly experienced professionals, including pharmacists, food scientists, and biotechnology engineers. We are driven, self-motivated, and energetic, with a strong passion for teamwork, and a great sense of humor.

The position is part time and expected weekly hour of 10-15 which could be split over 2-3 days.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

Supporting our application center and ensuring we are a food compliant laboratory. In addition you will support our scientist on delivering samples to our customers. You should also expect other ad-hoc tasks based on various incoming request to the team.

• Cleaning of laboratory rooms
• Cleaning of equipment
• Handling received goods and be in control of our storage
• Archiving of documents
• Powder characterization
• Ensure that laboratory equipment, workstations, and procedures live up to quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Inventory: Ordering consumables relevant for the lab
• Organize shipment of samples
• Secure good collaboration with colleagues in team, department and cross functionally.

To succeed you must hold:

• Bachelor’s student at university with a relevant background e.g. Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology
• Positive attitude and proactive mindset when it comes to tasks and responsibilities
• Able to work independently
• Good English communication skills
