Business Continuity and Crisis Management (BCCM) in Nordea – is a vibrant, diverse and international department of 3 teams of 35 individuals who work together and are part of ensuring that Nordea remains a safe, resilient, and trusted bank for our customers.

About this opportunity As the Management Partner, you will work closely with the department head and team leads, attending meetings, following up on key actions, and preparing high-quality deliverables. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong willingness to learn, even if you don’t have significant experience in resilience or management support. Your main goal will be to continuously develop your skills and take on more complex tasks over time.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support management by attending meetings, taking notes, and ensuring timely follow-up on actions agreed
  • Prepare high quality analyses and decision making proposals on which management can make sound decisions
  • Proactively drive and follow-up on department and management meetings and drive items dealt with to ensure action / implementation
  • Represent BCCM in various fora across Nordea, with high degree of professionalism in order to maintain a strong reputation among both external and internal contacts
  • Lead smaller projects and/or initiatives and drive the implementation of these within the unit / division
  • Seek out high level trends and future developments within the unit’s area of expertise to be able to contribute to the strategic agenda
  • Proactively engages with stakeholders through clear communication in order to manage expectations, involvement and requirements
  • Assist in preparing high-quality deliverables, typically in PowerPoint and ensuring inputs from the team are factored in
  • Ensure clarity and precision in messaging and content delivery, making sure that the message is understood
  • Handle tasks and issues with an analytical and structured approach and support the team in doing the same

The role is based in Copenhagen.

  • A strong proficiency in English. Preferably you also have a good knowledge of Danish or Swedish
  • A strong learning mindset: You don’t need extensive prior experience in resilience or in being a management partner, but a keen interest in the field and a desire to learn is crucial
  • A structured and analytical approach with and the ability to dive into details and tackle complex problems with a logical and structured mindset, with high attention to the detail
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills to ensure high-quality content and messaging
  • A strong ability to influence and connect with people and build rapport
