JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Global IT team, the Senior IT Business Analyst plays a critical role in delivering successful solutions by partnering with business and technology groups to elicit requirements and manage the design and implementation of ERP-related modules based on the Microsoft Platform D365. The Senior ERP Business Analyst – Finance continually monitors system and process performance and user utilization. This position involves working with multiple functional groups (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.), so managing multiple projects is essential, and strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. This position will be key in setting up the ERP platform and fundamentals for AGC Biologics to grow on.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage application design and configurations based on business requirements gathered by studying business functions. Understanding reasons behind requirements and recommending solutions for implementation.
- Improve systems by studying current and best practices, designing modifications.
- Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
- Manage the configuration and setup of the ERP-related solutions, using best practices and adhere to the JSOX and GMP policies and procedures, and offer recommendations for configurations that add value and utilization of ERP.
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures. Provide guidance for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, training users.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Ability to be flexible about project changes and dynamically mitigate risks in the moment with mid-course corrective action. Balance priorities inside projects and when maintaining the application.
- Responsible for writing documents and procedures for ERP requirements.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex activities simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot, provide basic support, and training for functional modules including enterprise functions within the Finance Domain.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new things.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 7+ years of demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft AX/Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a manufacturing industry for functional modules, primarily Finance and understanding of SCM, Inventory and Manufacturing preferably in a GMP environment.
- Demonstrated domain knowledge of enterprise-wide ERP-related business and technical processes (including functional areas such as: Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain)
- Ability to generate business unit and enterprise-wide reports using reporting technologies (e.g. Power BI)
- Previous experience in defining and integrating solutions to ERP systems for finance solutions, for Legal and statutory purposes.
Preferred:
- Experience implementing required, biotech and GMP experience preferred.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Equivalent education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
