About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst, to join our Regulatory Reporting Analysis team in Copenhagen, to help us strengthen our data foundation and reporting frameworks as we continue to build innovative solutions. As we expand, our regulatory reporting capabilities are critical to ensuring compliance and supporting our ambitious growth.

In this role, you will map data from various source systems to our regulatory reporting data model, maintain and develop the data model, and support the implementation of regulatory requirements. You will work closely with regulatory reporting specialists and data engineers, translating complex reporting requirements into actionable technical specifications to ensure the integrity of the data foundation and the effectiveness of the reporting solutions.

What you will be doing

• Map data from source systems to the regulatory reporting data model, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain and enhance the regulatory reporting data model to accommodate evolving business needs and regulatory requirements. This includes maintaining the data dictionary.
• Testing and validating as part of the development life cycle.
• Perform root cause analysis on data issues and ensure follow up with data owners.
• Support debugging and troubleshooting processes for existing reporting solutions written in Python.

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have demonstrated experience in an applicable role, where you have gained expertise in data manipulation and analysis, with proficiency in SQL, Python DataFrames, or similar tools. Additionally, you have experience or a strong interest in data mapping and modeling.

Experience with regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements is desirable, as is familiarity with tools like the data build tool (dbt) and reporting platforms such as Power BI. Knowledge of data engineering processes and tools such as Python programming will be an advantage.

You possess strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with regulatory reporting specialists, data engineers, and other stakeholders. With a strong analytical mindset, you are able to navigate complex data structures and flows within the organization.
