Director for UNITY Living in Finland

As Director for UNITY Finland, you will have overall responsibility for operations of UNITY Helsinki & UNITY Pyynikki Beach. So, you can be based in the areas of both Helsinki and Tampere. You will handle the companies within UNITY Finland and drive the business in close dialogue with the Danish CEO. The property is owned by a fund and is therefore for sale. The Director will play a crucial part in this process, so we are looking for a candidate, who has the strategical mindset which is needed to be a part of this journey.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that the UNITY brand continues to build on its successful launches from 2022, in Finland, setting new standards and driving growth.

As Director, you will:

• Take the lead and continue to develop a dynamic and flexible organization.
• Function as an initiated leader in relation to the sales and marketing strategies.
• Network with local and domestic business partners.
• Have a motivated and empathic management style, as well as being a leader and a catalyst.
• Be involved in financial responsibilities - forecasting, P&L responsibilities, budgets, cost accounting/analysis of operations.
• Be responsible for creating a positive working environment (UNITY culture).
• Streamline the operations and asset management, setting the structure for an easy handover of operations, Am & PM to a prosperous future in a new ownership and/or setup.

As Director of Finland you will also coordinate outsourced services including housekeeping, property maintenance, security, catering as well as managing the contracts and suppliers and administration of both the property and its finances. This includes being in charge of Asset Management and Property Management.

As Director you will be fully responsible for everything from the guest experience and operations to revenue and final EBIDAT. The guest experience is created with a unique vision of an optimal work-life-balance that allows Unity’s guests – extending from students and professionals to leisure customers, all with a need for a temporary housing solution – to have the opportunity to work from home efficiently and stress free with a tight link to the local community and doing this with a sustainable approach.
