We are looking for experienced managers to strengthen Engineering Management in Asker. People with a desire to deliver the best product possible within contractual and governmental requirements.
About the position
This is a multidiscipline position, heading up an engineering team in one of our projects or studies. This can be as engineering manager, or team lead depending on size and complexity of the project and your experience and competence. We are looking for you, with a technical background that consider yourself to be a leader with a genuine interest in people and development. Communicating clearly is of high importance and value to you, as well as your loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements. You believe you can make a difference within the team, as well as in Aibel as a whole. Furthermore, you are open to new ideas and solutions, curious about Construction and Procurement and has a commercial mindset.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Responsible for resource and scope planning and follow up
- Responsible for Engineering on time delivery within budget and quality
- Responsible for development of the technical design and all Engineering deliveries including technical basis for Procurement and drawings to Construction
- Status and progress reporting
- Manage and implement changes
- Responsible for strategies, method, and improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' relevant working experience in technical fields
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- Proven record within project management
- Knowledge of the interface between Engineering, Procurement & Construction
- Experience in management of change and/or external interfaces
- Fluent English and preferably Norwegian skills - both orally and in writing

- Collaborative and open to working in a multicultural team environment
- Be systematic and accurate
- Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
