Would you like to play a key role in shaping the way credit risk recovery data is sourced in Nordea Finance? We are now looking for a Senior Business Analyst to understand business processes, design and implement data flows, and coordinate with other analysts and developers. The role requires both technical hands-on work and coordination with stakeholders. Welcome to the Credit Risk Data Analytics team within Nordea Finance. We add value by enabling data driven credit risk management across the Nordics and across the product landscape of Nordea Finance. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in integrating Nordea Finance into the Nordea Groups centralized risk modelling, as we are modernizing the way recovery data is sourced. Credit risk models is a key priority for NF and the Nordea Group. Ensuring a robust and correct data foundation is a core aspect of the overall project and a non-trivial challenge.

You will be a key person in analyzing requirements from Group Risk Models, understanding business processes and their representation in data, designing data flows and data quality monitoring, and interacting with IT architects and developers for the long term automation of recovery data sourcing. The initiative is evolving over the coming years and your skills and ideas will help shape our direction.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Take ownership of and collaborate with other data analysts in maintaining and updating as-is data models and flows built in Python and SQL
  • Work with other Credit Risk Management analysts and leaders in coordinating automation of recovery data sourcing
  • Analyse and understand our products and processes and how they are represented in legacy data models
  • Create robust and comprehensive integration of our data landscape with canonical data models of recovery data
  • Coordinate productionisation of prototypes with IT architects and developers
  • Become a subject matter expert in recovery data in Nordea Finance and act as a stakeholder towards both the local business and the group

Your experience and background:

  • Degree in a relevant field like economics, finance or other technical field (mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, etc.)
  • Experience with credit risk recovery data, for instance as a credit risk model analyst, as an analyst in a collection agency or from similar functions in the financial industry.
  • Experience with SQL and Python
  • Experience with IT coordination would be a plus
  • Excellent English, as this is our primary working language
