Aiming for new heights
At Scalepoint, we support insurers in their digital journey to automate and provide a much better customer experience. Our solutions are unique, and our claims management solution was recently appointed the world’s best! Now, we're looking for an experienced Product Owner to play a central role in taking central parts of our claims solution to the next level.
If you thrive in putting structure to a fast paced and sometimes hectic environment and are excited about digitalizing the insurance industry with standard turn-key solutions, this is the perfect opportunity for you!. As an experienced Product Owner your responsibilities include understanding business needs, providing input to the roadmap, guiding your team, defining features, prioritizing the product backlog, and overall ensuring groundbreaking functionality, high business value, and outstanding quality. You will be part of a Product Management team of 5 in a workplace with an informal work environment with strong collaborative relationships.
What to dive into
At Scalepoint, there’s always room for developing and exploring great ideas. We know it takes high ambitions to conquer the world and we value a solid dose of ambition and drive. Together with the team, you will be involved with:
- Analysis based on product expertise: Analysis and formulating business requirements to address customer needs based on customer input, product expertise and the art of building standard software.
- Product Development and Processes: Provide input to the product roadmap and manage several roadmap items. We are constantly evaluating our ways of working, providing ample opportunities for you to make a meaningful impact.
- Enhancing products: Take charge of enhancing existing products by elevating performance, scalability, configurability, and integrating newer technologies while ensuring application security.
- Stakeholder Management: Actively engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to e.g. assess customer and business needs, incorporating their input into the product development process.
- Customer Collaboration: We have a close relationship with our customers giving you a unique opportunity to identify and deliver new modules and enhancements in collaboration with end users. It’s an important part of the role to handle customer requests including describing, designing, and estimating proposed generic solutions.
- Agile methodology:Leverage your experience with agile methodologies, actively participating in ceremonies to ensure the iterative development process aligns with goals and timelines. As the Product Owner, you will be entrusted with managing your team's backlog, driving a sense of purpose, ownership, and responsibility.
- Motivating a remote development team:Effectively communicate priorities based on value creation, agreements, and business needs, motivating your team to develop high quality products. The development team is distributed across locations, so strong communication skills are essential.
We imagine that you have worked in a similar position and have 3-4 years of experience. You must be able to speak and write fluent Danish and English. It’s an advantage (but not a need) if you are experienced in working with insurance.
