Sustainability Specialist

About the Role: As a Sustainability Specialist at &Tradition, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our sustainability initiatives. You will ensure that our commitment to environmental and social responsibility is integrated throughout our business operations. This includes helping us achieve ambitious impact goals, supporting circular product development, and making sustainability data accessible to sales and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Impact Goal Implementation: Contribute to the implementation and progression of &Tradition’s sustainability ambitions for people and the planet.
• Carbon Accounting: Work with the Design and Development teams to implement environmental impact improvements aligned with our SBTi targets. Make carbon data readily accessible to Sales through impact sheets or similar tools.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Track impact and ESG metrics, and contribute to internal and external reporting on sustainability progress.
• Internal Sustainability Advocacy: Act as a champion for sustainability across the organization by serving as a sustainability ambassador. Contribute to trainings, workshops, and promote awareness of sustainable practices. Foster a culture where people and the planet are prioritized at all levels of the company.
• Preferred Partner Instigator: Work closely with Sales teams across markets to address growing customer demands for sustainable solutions and support them in responding to sustainability-related customer requests.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Environmental Science or other sustainability related fields.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to creating positive environmental and social impacts.
• Knowledge of lifecycle assessments (LCAs) or carbon footprint analysis.
• Experience with sustainability reporting, including ESG and impact reporting.
• Familiarity with B-Corp certification, Science-Based Targets (SBTi), and other sustainability frameworks is a plus.
