You will be engaged in innovating new BioSolutions for plant-based foods and food ingredients with enzymes and micro-organisms.

Welcome to Food & Plant Applied R&D
- Influence the foods of tomorrow with highly dedicated colleagues across multiple functions and regions.

Together with a great team of technical and commercial colleagues, you can grow and develop the biosolutions portfolio that will support the transformation of food systems and enable sustainable processes across the food industry. We are seeking a person with a scientific and creative mindset and a can-do attitude focusing on understanding and solving customer needs.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Translating customer needs into technical questions and setting up experimental strategies and lab methods to find solutions
  • Driving NPD projects from early idea scoping to late stage as a technical lead.
  • Contributing to a cross-functional team that delivers innovation both related to new products but also when it comes to digitalization, method development and technology development.

To thrive in this position, you need to:

  • Have a MSc or PhD degree within Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food or Plant Science or other relevant education
  • Have experience from research/development project work and/or applied development, preferably within the field of food science or plant proteins
  • Have practical experience with application of enzymes, micro-organisms or other BioSolutions
  • Be curious and enjoy generating science-based insights and crosslinking biological research with application knowhow
  • Have an innovative and solution-oriented mindset and feel comfortable in engaging with customers

Furthermore you:

  • Enjoy working as a part of a collaborative team and possess strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Possess stamina for long-term focus, while also being able to pivot according to new learnings and opportunities
  • Possess excellent experimental planning and data analysis skills, and be curious about developments in digitalization
  • Be able to engage and communicate at all levels in the organization
  • Speak and write English fluently
