This is the role and main tasks
As the internal Data Architect at Stibo Systems, you will take full ownership of the organization’s data architecture strategy, ensuring the integration and governance of data across various systems. You will be responsible for architecting a scalable, high-performance data infrastructure that aligns with our enterprise goals and supports both operational and analytical needs.
Leveraging your extensive experience, you will guide the team in designing how data from multiple systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, and contract management) is integrated, transformed, and harmonized within the enterprise data model (EDM).
You will play a critical role in ensuring that data management, governance, and quality standards are maintained throughout the organization, enabling advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architectures, ensuring alignment with the overall data strategy.
- Architect and optimize data integration workflows, harmonizing data from fragmented operational systems.
- Oversee the development of the logical enterprise data model (EDM) and ensure consistency across all data repositories.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable data architecture solutions.
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards within the architecture.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members, ensuring best practices in data architecture and integration.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, recommending new tools and practices that can enhance the data architecture.
This is your Team
Data & BI is a dynamic team of 7 members and practices an agile way of working. The team excels at supporting and sparring with each other, creating a learning and growth environment. We are part of the larger Finance department, most working out of the Aarhus office.
The team drives business change through enterprise data platform, BI solutions – tabular models in particular, integrations, automations, and enterprise master data management in all areas of Stibo Systems and is part of the larger data strategy.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate is an experienced data architect with deep expertise in enterprise data solutions. You have a strong background in leading data architecture initiatives and managing complex data ecosystems, while ensuring that the technical vision aligns with business objectives. You are comfortable mentoring others and leading initiatives that have a company-wide impact.
Moreover, you:
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience working in data architecture, data management, or a related field.
- Have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data architectures in large, complex organizations.
- Hold a relevant educational background, preferably a master’s degree in IT, business intelligence, computer science, information management, or a similar field.
- Are highly experienced in data integration, data governance, master data management (MDM), and data quality best practices.
- Have experience working with modern data technologies, ETL/ELT tools, data warehouses, and data integration in general.
- Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of guiding cross-functional teams and aligning data initiatives with business needs.
