Join us as our new Senior Sourcing Manager

Are you skilled in negotiation, agreement-making, and vendor management in a competitive market? Are you open to learning and developing these skills further? Our company manages a diverse portfolio of hundreds of investment projects (CAPEX) that require sourcing assistance across a wide range of components and highly sophisticated turnkey installations in our operational plants all across Europe.

We are excited to welcome a new team member to join our dedicated group of sourcing specialists. As part of our small yet focused team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our CAPEX projects and have the opportunity to collaborate on exciting initiatives that directly contribute to the company's growth.

Your role in the projects is to act as commercial anchor, formulating and executing the Sourcing strategy . Preparing and solve the tasks related to our Sourcing Strategy will be a large part of your daily work, which for example includes Vendor Assessment, Risk assessment, Tendering, Negotiation, Contract Management.

You will form a close partnership with the Project Manager driving the project and work closely with other stakeholders, such as User Managers, Technology Managers, external Engineering Partners among others, who make up the Project team for each project.

In this role you’ll make an impact by :

• Developing good stakeholder relationship.
• Challenging the business in a professional way
• Assessing the project and contractors to mitigate risk.
• Being able to find compromises in complex projects.
• Take initiative and not afraid to express your opinion.

Potentially relevant experience:

• Knowledge and understanding of/or strong interest in learning about project sourcing processes
• Commercial/Industrial background with strong negotiation skills or ambitions to develop such
• Structured approach to tasks with analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to involve in cross functional teams, to collaborate locally and globally within Novonesis
• Technical interest
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Knowledge to ABR/AB/NLM/Orgalime/FIDIC is an advantage
• +7 years experience as Senior Sourcing Manage or similar
• Fluent in Danish and English, German is an advantage

Your educational background can be based on a degree in economics, engineering, business, but it can also be acquired in alternative ways that makes you just perfect for one of the positions.

Location: Can either be Avedøre (Hvidovre) or Kalundborg
