You will join our newly established Innovation team, Digital Ventures, supporting our efforts to explore new concepts, partnerships, and market trends. Reporting to – and collaborating closely with - our Lead Data Scientist, you will be part of a creative team committed to making data-driven innovation.

Your job is to turn complex data into clear insights and support the team in making better decisions regarding sustainability and efficiency. An example of a project could be developing new features for our platform(s), such as anomaly detection in fuel quality data and identifying trends in regulatory shifts, and thereby providing the business with valuable insights.

Your role will be to support our team and your task will include:

• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights. Primary in Python
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling and data classification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data science tasks.
• Build data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning.

Analytical mindset with a passion for innovation
We imagine that you are proactive, service-minded and eager to contribute to the team as well as working independently in an international company. As a person, you have good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Additionally, you have:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Interest in AI and perhaps already have some experience within the field.
• Great understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
• Knowledge of Python including pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib/plotly. Familiarity with FastAPI or Flask would be an additional advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
