By joining the Strategy & Transformation team in SOS International, you will help shape the future strategic direction and make strategy real for SOS International, a leading Nordic assistance organization with a DKK ~3bn turnover and a strong purpose of helping people all over the world, today and tomorrow.
We are looking for highly motivated consultants to work with strategy, transformation and problem-solving with ample opportunities to develop a consulting toolbox through mentoring from former management consultants, alongside growing levels of responsibility - We welcome applicants who are recent graduates or have up to 1-2 years of full-time work experience.
In this role, you will work directly with execution of the 2027 strategy, strategic projects, the agenda set by our executive leadership team and spearheading the transformation of a company with a unique purpose. With ~1400 employees located in all the Nordic countries and a culture of inclusivity, we offer a sustainable work-life balance and a location for you at our new and modern HQ in Ørestaden.
You will become part of a small team of former management consultants (4 FTEs) where your learning and development will be a key priority. You will get exposure to a variety of tasks / projects and gain a broad business understanding through engagement across any function in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Transformation, you will:
- Together with various stakeholders drive execution of our strategy and transformation
- Lead and contribute to the annual strategy cycle (incl. strategy formulation), business-critical projects, and complex problem-solving initiatives
- Support the management of our transformation, ensuring the realization of strategic KPIs and benefits through effective governance, strategic planning, progress reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
- Conduct thorough analyses to inform executive decision-making
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to gain buy-in, drive change, and make a lasting impact
- Create compelling presentation materials to aid decision-making at the executive leadership and Board level
We are looking for candidates with the following core competencies and / or experiences:
- Strategy and problem-solving skills / interest
- An analytical foundation with both quantitative and qualitative skills
- Work experience / student assistant experience from management consulting or a corporate strategy / development function is a plus
- A holistic mindset, structured approach, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Expertise in slide writing is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive and results-driven mindset, and the ability to work independently
- Proactive, responsible, result-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality work within deadlines
- Master’s degree in business administration / economics or similar
- Fluency in Danish / Nordic language is a prerequisite and English (speaking/writing) required
