Software Architect – innovative solutions for the front-line commander
This is your chance to transform the future and participate in the development for our next-generation Mobile defence products – products that save lives!
Join our Mobile Program and deliver cutting-edge software for the Military
The Mobile program delivers software to vehicles and the dismounted commander. The software can be used in military conflicts as well as for disaster relief operations. And it provides an API that allows customers to integrate with sensors and drones. It implements resilient network protocols, so front-line commanders have a shared situational picture. Above all, there is a high focus on ease of use.
A team of skilled technical experts
The Mobile program consists of six scrum teams situated in Denmark and Romania. Each scrum team is composed of about seven developers, and you will be integrated into one of these teams. As an Architect, you will be part of a team charged with developing new software solutions for our customers. Together with the Program Architect, you will set the direction for designing new features that have useability and quality at their core. And you will align the technical product direction with the business owner team.
You will work with the team you are part of and guide them during the development phase to ensure the features fulfil product and system requirements.
Your key task will be ensuring that the work on new product releases fulfils key software quality attributes such as security, scalability, performance and maintainability .
You will, together with the project manager, drive initiatives to improve the team’s way of working, to be efficient and ensuring high quality code.
A proactive full-stack software architect with hands-on experience
As a minimum you hold a bachelor’s degree in software engineering and have 2+ years of experience as a software lead or similar.
Moreover, to succeed in the role:
- You master the classic architectural skills and are proficient in Java, Angular and TypeScript; experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Our platform runs on Windows, Android and Linux, which you should also be familiar with.
- Ideally, you hold a software architect certificate, but this not a requirement.
- You must be fluent in both oral and written English.
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
