The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Metro Line M1-M2 business unit. Reporting to the Maintenance Director, you will be a key figure in our Senior Management Team, guiding the efforts of 3 Sector Managers and 8 First-Line Managers, overseeing a department of 100 employees. This role offers the chance to blend strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, focusing on cutting-edge maintenance solutions and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the long-term strategy for maintenance operations, ensuring we meet evolving demands in urban mobility.
- Innovation & Technology: Implement the latest technological solutions to optimize performance, reliability, and safety.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage the business unit’s budget, aligning operational goals with financial objectives.
- Safety & Compliance: Oversee strict adherence to safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all technical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Reporting: Provide clear, actionable performance reports to the Maintenance Director and senior stakeholders, driving transparency and continuous improvement.
- Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture that prioritizes best practices, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across all business units.
- Optimization & Efficiency: Constantly monitor and refine maintenance processes, ensuring peak efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should be a strategic thinker with a strong track record in team leadership and project management, ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
- Education: Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in management, with demonstrated success in leading large teams and complex projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Experience working with public authorities and external partners; skilled in negotiation.
- Communication: Fluent in both Danish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT systems, safety management, and regulatory compliance in metro operations.
