About The Job
The main purpose of this position is to act as final line of support for technical queries and claims for our Master channels, Key partner and Sales Companies across the globe.
As Global Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Remote and onsite trouble shooting of technical issues related to pumps, Valves, mixing and cleaning equipment in Food, Dairy, Beverage, Pharma and Personal care processes.
- Effective communication - discuss the complex technical issues & train colleagues in sales companies and sales channels with customer focus mindset.
- Networking – Create and maintain effective network with different departments (R&D, Product Management, Production, Quality) and coordinate with them to timely and effectively respond to market technical requests.
- Digitalization: Effectively contribute towards the digitalization initiatives to improve the quality of technical service management systems
- Quoting specially engineered products, identification of spare parts, support on product documentation & regulations.
- Support to claim handling department in investigation of technical claims.
The position will be based in Kolding, Denmark. We expect travel activity to be approximately 20 days a year.
What You Bring
- At least 7 years of relevant industry experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of technical understanding of Pumps (positive & centrifugal), Valves, Pipes, Fittings used in food, pharma, personal & home care industry is ideal.
- Experience in process engineering, design, commissioning, installation, maintenance or any of similar experience in Food, Dairy, Pharma, Personal Care process plants is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Engineering, Dairy, or Process Engineering.
- Familiarity with installation and commissioning in dairy and food processing plants is a plus.
