About the job
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Logistic Operation team in Fredericia. You will become a member of the management team for the logistic operation, which hold the responsibilities of warehousing, distribution, and transportation to the Danish market.
As the Business Development Manager, you will run the development and strategy processes in the logistic operation and execute some of the development initiatives.
Your responsibilities
The main responsibility will be to ensure the strategic and tactical development of the logistics business. Including driving projects across functions in the Logistic Operation, working with other departments and group functions to demonstrate "one team winning” and ensure best operational results.
You will be responsible for identifying and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
The role has specific focus on the strategic cost optimization, including support to the Logistics Director, controller and support to peers regarding specific initiatives for strategic implementation.
This includes running 3 years plan processes, budget processes and ensure policy deployment of the strategic initiatives.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for a Business Development Manager, who works with passion and integrity, and are keen to deliver results.
You are managing strategic communication and are holding solid stakeholder management skills and can communicate to all levels in the organization.
In addition, we imagine that you:
- Have strong analytical skills
- Have solid experience in working with data and base your decision on a fact based approach
- Can develop and empower people
- Are driving and managing change
- Have a high understanding of logistic operation and can integrate the consumer and customer focus in our development initiatives
- Can build business cases
- Have proven project management skills and can run projects through a stage gate model
- Know about Lean/TPM
- Are Fluent in English (spoken and written)
We expect that you hold a bachelor’s degree in Logistics or equivalent, and has minimum 5 years of experience within a supply chain environment. Further, we expect that you have proven experience in managing change in a performance driven FMCG environment.
