Technology Partnership Manager
Solita ApS
Technology vendors are essential for our business. Foundational platforms (MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) as well as more specified tools & technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Mulesoft, Outsystems and many more) are in some role in almost all our deliveries. Furthermore, not only do we leverage these technologies, but we also work closely with these providers in a business partnership.
The collaboration models of the vendors vary a lot, and they require a systematic approach to leverage all the possibilities across all our units and markets. Thus, we are looking for a Technology Partnership Manager to develop and coordinate Solita-wide partnerships. In this role, your main responsibility is to help our units to succeed with their partner-related business, without compromising our agility & objectivity.
What does the Technology Partnership Manager do?
Technology Partnership Manager is a supporting & coordinating role: you’ll work in close collaboration with people who own the partnerships, but also with people in sales, accounts, marketing, and business development. And naturally, with our most important partners!
As a Technology Partnership Manager, your day-to-day tasks may consist of:
- Defining and implementing Solita-level partner-related processes and instructions (how to act with different partners)
- Ensuring that key administrative processes are in place in each partnership: agreements, fundings, support, reporting, etc.
- Ensuring that key business elements are in place in each partnership: targets, plans, roles and responsibilities, references, etc.
- Acting as a single-point-of-contact in internal and external enquiries
- Communicating partner-related competences, activities, and achievements externally and internally, together with partner responsible.
The role is global and group wide: your main priority is partners that are relevant for the whole Solita, across different countries and units. You play a key role in systematizing the collaboration with them in our established markets and enabling partnership-related possibilities in emerging markets. Occasional travelling (a few times a month) is expected in this role.
What the Technology Partnership Manager DOESN’T do?
We believe that partnerships must be handled close to the actual business. Thus, the Technology Partnership Manager is not responsible for:
- Creating strategies & business plans for the partnerships
- Owning the partnerships
- Running partnership related business
- Managing tech vendor related sales
- Organizing partnership events, marketing, etc.
These responsibilities fall to named people in the business units. However, the Technology Partnership Manager offers structures and support for these activities.
What do we expect from you?
The role of a Technology Partnership Manager is versatile, and a decent amount of seniority is essential. However, we don’t expect you to be ready but rather to develop with the role. These elements will contribute your success:
- Experience in tech vendor partnership models & collaboration
- Process-oriented and pedantic mindset
- Good insight into & knowledge about Solita’s full set of offerings
- Excellent networking, collaboration and communication skills
- Business acumen and understanding on how to make individuals, teams and Solita’s goals support each other
- Ability to prioritize and balance time between different responsibilities of your role
- Fluent English skills.
Why should I become the Technology Partnership Manager?
Partnerships are an essential part of our future business. With them, we build Solita’s most important competences and accounts: you’ll play a key role in building our company to the international level. You’ll work with our best talents across the units and countries. You'll have a wide range of responsibilities and the opportunity to grow your skills in next-gen tech, and modern leadership.
