As our business is embarking into our digital journey, growing in area of web and cloud solution development, we are seeking a Senior Software Developers - Web Systems who will focus on delivering innovative solutions to local and global markets.
The position is based in Jakarta and will be working with and reporting to the Software and Services Group in Singapore and be part of our global software development team. This position is one of the key roles in the development and maintenance of our next generation of web systems serving our clients locally, regionally and globally. Our developers bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, networking and data storage, and mobile.
As a Senior Software/Web Developer, you will work on a specific project critical to DHI’s needs and have the opportunity to switch projects as you and our business grow and evolve. We need our developers to be versatile, be enthusiastic to tackle new problems across the full stack as we continue to push technology forward. As a key member of a small and versatile team, you design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.
Education and Experience
- B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant discipline
- 4-6 years of working experience, preferably working on developing mid to large web-based enterprise systems.
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of architecture, algorithms and system design
- Solid experience with C# .NET especially, familiarity with other languages is a plus
- Solid hands-on experience with other Microsoft technologies, familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a big advantage
- Experience with Git version control system in special Azure DevOps Repos
- Experience with build pipelines and agents in Azure DevOps is an asset
- Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, SaaS, Domain Driven Design, Unit testing, Databases
- Knowledge of frontends technologies and frameworks, specially React, is an asset
- Experience with agile methods (SCRUM is an asset)
- A curious and innovative mind set and ability to quickly adopt new methodologies and technologies
- The ability to work individually as well as in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English, oral and written
- Potential to lead projects
