The Role
We are looking for a quality-driven DevOps Engineer with enthusiasm, autonomy and ability to develop and manage our infrastructure, ensuring efficient and smooth value delivery, with a strong interest for the software product running on it, as well as its inner workings.
You will be a part of our pager duty team and together with the rest of our DevOps Engineers you will be responsible for ensuring that our systems overall stability, performance and health always is at its best..
You will also play a key role in building and driving new features, improving existing code, while developing new features. You will get the chance to be part of a scrum team with highly motivated individuals driven by building a product they are proud of!
Responsibilities:
- Focus on Infrastructure as Code, so provisioning of infrastructure is controlled and repeatable.
- Establish, Configure and maintain build pipeline and build servers, focusing on CI/CD methods that support developer needs.
- Take part in pager duty together with the rest of our DevOps Engineers.
- Take part in decision making and design discussions during development.
- Perform tests, troubleshooting, improve performance and fix bugs.
- Develop and maintain web services and interfaces.
- Collaborate with the rest of our product team.
- Help plan, implement and release new features & APIs.
- Maintain artifact registers to contain images and charts etc.
- Help to lead the technical direction of the team through adoption of best practices and tooling.
We are looking for a talent with the following skills:
- Experience of 3+ years with AWS, MariaDB, API is needed. Python is a plus.
- Experience with Ansible and -or Terraform is a plus.
- Knowledge of containerized Infrastructures.
- Experience running multi TB database workloads (MariaDB).
- A proven track record developing a range of full-stack applications as part of a cross functional team.
- Experience developing and maintaining best practice REST API’s.
- Experience working in an Agile / DevOps environment is a plus.
- Inspire and challenge the organization with your knowledge on how to solve problems.
